Connection

Is the real reason Anna didnt get the throne beacuse of her grandmother? At the begining of the story a man came to there house and said, "I doesnt matter if the first born is a girl, but if there IS a boy sibling then her sall be the emperor." Even though John did become the Emperor, Anna comtinued learning the ways to be Empress, and her whole family continued acting like she will be. Maybe Annas father knew all along that John will be Emperor and thats why he changed his mind so sunndenly.

I was so happy when I read that when Annas grandmother told John to kill Anna after attempt of murder towards him, he said "No I dont obey you, YOU obey me!" I felt so relived that Annas grandmother finally got a taste of her own medicine. She is such a Horrible, Crul, Cold hearted woman! She is the reason everything turned out the way it did.

Anna of Byzantium Connection

All together I did like the book. In the middle I found it a bit boring but I really liked the ending. It was good story, I think Anna should have shown her feelings a bit more though. I would like it if they made the same story but from someone elses point of view, I think that if another book was from Sophias or Marias point of view it would be really intresting because you can see how they are feeling.

What do fish have to do with anything?

I like this short story, it’s sort of a kids book mixed with real life and a mystery. I like how its real life, so people do live on streets and can’t afford a lot, and kids have no idea what’s going on, they think life always has a happy ending. So I like how the story does that. One thing I would change is I would expand the mother’s story, I would describe what wrong and why she is so protective. But other than that I really enjoyed it.

Boken Chain

The book Broken Chain wasn’t my favourite book. I found it a bit cheesy and predictable; I knew from the second page that he would end up getting the girl and everything would be ok and that they would all live happily ever after. I read the first page of the other book and I found it really boring so I just read Broken Chain. I maybe would have read this short story if it was a book, so it would be longer, with more details and the problem is expanded more so it would be better. I feel like there are too many stories with that idea and it gets boring.

Connection 2

It was a big surprise to me when Jaz threw Georgia a surprise party after they were in a big fight, it was the kind of fight that couldnt solve itself, Georgia even kicked Jaz! They havent  spoken in ages. Jaz is a good person, she forgave Georgia when she didnt say sorry and she threw her a party. So Georgia should realized what a good friend she has.

Connection

In the book I am reading, the confessions of Georgia Nicolson the main character is Georgia. I am not sure if I like her for a couple of reasons. She always changes her mind, one minute she is in love with Robbie and then the next she is in love with Dave! She also gets mad at her best friend Jaz all the time. When they are on the phone and Georgia asks Jaz a question and she replies with an answer and if Georgia disagrees she with get really mad. And finally Georgia is quite selfish; when her dad came back from New Zealand he wanted to go to Scotland for the weekend but Georgia didn’t want to, she wanted to stay home and wait for Robbie to call and meet up, and when her parents dragged her there she moaned the WHOLE time. On the other hand she is really funny and amusing and I like how she tells her story and how she is really creative and that makes a good story. So I am not sure about if I like her or not but there are still 6 more books left more for me to find out.
